The Parrots announce new single ‘I Did Something Wrong’ and UK tour dates

Spanish trio, The Parrots, will be heading back to the UK this October for a full UK tour, following the release of their first single, ‘I Did Something Wrong’, on Shacklewell Records also in October.

They will play 13 shows next month, following on from their London residency which saw them take over The Shacklewell Arms, The Waiting Room and The Lock Tavern earlier in summer. Kicking off at London’s Moth Club on October 6, The Parrots will then play the likes of Birmingham, Manchester, Brighton, Guildford, Stoke and finally Nottingham on October 24 at Chameleon. Full dates are below.

To be released on October 5, the 7″ single will feature two early demos that have gone down a storm at their live shows. The two tracks will be ‘I Did Something Wrong’ and drunken show-closing chant ‘Somebody To Love’, with the former of the two already having 75,000 on YouTube even without a physical release. The exclusive vinyl release will also mark the launch of Shacklewell Records, a newborn imprint linked to the Dalston venue and its pop-up record shop, Black Wax.
