The Temper Trap have announced a trio of London gigs this summer ahead of the release of their forthcoming album.
The Australian band will play Hackney’s Oslo on July 21, 22 and 23 meaning these will be the bands first headline shows in over 12 months, however, one big difference is the band will be without guitarist Lorenzo Sillitto after he left the band last year. Sillitto left after featuring on the bands first two albums ‘Conditions’ and ‘The Temper Trap’, as well as working on eagerly awaited third LP.
Once finished in London the band will fly to the USA to continue their run of gigs, which is expected to feature some of their new material off the upcoming album.
Frontman Dougy Mandagi said: “We’re all really excited about the direction the new tracks are taking and we can’t wait to play them live to our fans for the first time. These will be our most intimate shows in a very long time.”
Tickets for the London gigs will go on sale tomorrow (May 30), priced at £15 + booking fee.
