HANKKS are an alternative indie rock band from Birmingham UK who formed in April 2015.They get their name from admiration of the fantastic movie man that is Tom Hanks Consisting of Ben James and Jacob Evitts forming a song writing partnership with a dual vocal sound with two brothers in James and Harry Davison all adding their own thing to the mix.

After playing their first shows throughout the summer of last year to increasing crowds in Birmingham HANKKS are looking forward to see what the future holds.
After receiving wide spread praise from their first release ‘Stepping Stone’ HANKKS’s second signal ‘loveshy’ is already being played on their local BBC station “BBC WM” on a regular basis. Check it out below…

HANKKS play This Feeling Birmingham (The Sunflower Lounge) this Friday with Tibet and Cupids. It’s the launch night at the venue, so entry is free (first come, first served), free JD & coke first 100 in + DJs till 2am.
