As a true symbol of the retro revolution, the psychedelic trend reigns prominent in the North West, with The Watchmakers gleaming in the forefront of it all. Smashing into summer with a brand new single, ‘Kiss The Sun’ brilliantly captures the band’s knack for all things psychedelic with some new hazy harmonies and glowing guitar riffs. That ever-loving 60s aesthetic surrounds this chromatic track, while the bewitching words ‘You’re the only one to kiss the sun’ echo behind lush instrumentals dripping in momentum under a psychedelic spell. This being the first song to follow the band’s December release ‘To Be Part of You’ which sold out on cassette in a matter of weeks, we’ve already seen The Watchmakers quickly evolve, blending vibes of Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Verve and Primal Scream into their own unique blend of rock for the modern times.

The Watchmakers will be celebrating the launch of the single with a live show at The Eagle in Salford. The event is sold out.
