Trampolene’s comeback track, the first single to be lifted off a second album due some time next year, is reminiscent in sound and spirit of the Manic Street Preachers ‘Everything Must Go’ album era and likely to have a similar impact. ‘The One Who Loves You’ is an out and out anthem that should see the band go from indie cult heroes to crashing the mainstream.
Frontman Jack Jones says of the track, “it’s quite different for us, less distortion and more melody. It’s a song I started writing after my first love at school and only got round to finishing recently…it’s about offering the world to someone you love… but the world is never enough.”
