Tim Burgess, Donovan & Polyphonic Spree Set For Lunar Festival

Friday 6th– Sunday 8th of June is the dates of the debut of brand new festival: Lunar! Lunar Festival is an eclectic three day camping event set in the spiritual home of Nick Drake (Tanworth In Arden) located in Warwickshire only 10 miles from the heart of Birmingham and yet so far away from everything. Lunar is going to be incredibly diverse and somewhat magical with the rolling hills, tree-shaded meadows and grassy parks, nothing screams hippie as much as this. The perfect setting for a perfect festival.

However, despite the scenery you can find acts such as the legendary Tim Burgess headlining or you can catch talented acts such as Donavan, British Sea Power and The Polyphonic Spree and more! You can also enjoy many more live acts along with also enjoying DJ shows with more yet to be announced. You would be a fool to miss it.

Moreover, if you are searching for a fun get away with the family or you have never been to a festival or you are simply looking for a more boutique time than the likes of Reading and Leeds or Glastonbury, Lunar is the home for you! This is because it’s going to highlight a sense of mellowness in combination with a strong steak of mental running alongside it. The festival simply promotes an idea of diversity with family activities such as sausage making, green crafts and yoga sessions as the sun is out. However, come sundown and Lunar Festival simply comes alive with some of the best Midlands club nights including Magic Door with The Jukes of Hazard & Deano Ferrino.

Everything about Lunar sounds so wrong and will be so right as nothing says letting go like a bit of sausage making to the sounds of Tim Burgess followed by a night of drunken partying in the rural fields of Warwickshire. What a treat.

Tickets vary between only £35-£85. Absolute bargain. To book tickets visit http://lunarfestival.co.uk/
