Track Review: Phantom Runners – ‘Chasing The Feeling’

Having received acclaim from the likes of Radio 1, as well as ‘Balcony TV’, Brighton Band – Phantom Runners – are now back with their second single ‘Chasing The Feeling’. Produced by Huey Morgan of Fun Lovin’ Criminals and 6music fame, the track is an effective amalgamation between gentle indie-pop melodies and guest rap vocals, courtesy of Titus Taylor.

Inspired by a particularly heavy night at Glastonbury Stone Circle, ‘Chasing The Feeling’ starts life as a perfectly pretty indie anthem with Phantom Runners’ characteristic catchy melodies and impassioned vocals which then subtly fuse together with Taylor’s hip-hop-inspired storytelling. Accompanied by an artistic video, this is the perfect track for fans of Kodaline-esque indie with a twist.

Catch Phantom Runners at The Great Escape festival tomorrow!
