TRACK REVIEW: The Rifles ‘All I Need’

‘All I Need’ is the latest single from indie-rockers ‘The Rifles’. The second single to come from the hugely successfully album, ‘None The Wiser’ is due out on the 5th May via Cooking Vinyl. The original line up have once again combined good songwriting, catchy hooks and an organic acoustic sound to bring together another feel-good anthem.

This time the order of the day is a folky, heart-warming tale with enough bounce to see you jigging your way through the spring sun. ‘All I Need’ is a tale of love and lust and the necessity of having someone you love in your life wrapped in the honesty that only ‘The Rifles’ make cool.

From the off the chord structure gives you an immediate familiarity and warmth that will have grown men crying into their warm beers, arms around their best mate wailing at full volume during the forthcoming tour. Hints of The Kinks, Doves and Television make it the love letter that every lad wish he had the balls to write to his Mrs and will for sure create a tender moment in the live sets.

‘All I Need’ is released 5th May. You can catch The Rifles on tour at the following places:
