The Vaccines and IDLES announced for Live at Leeds 2018

Arguably one of the hottest lineups for an inner-city festival in 2018, Live at Leeds has added yet another layer of fantastic acts to its bill.  Expect to see The Vaccines, The Xcerts, The Night Cafe and King Nun all at Live at Leeds 2018.

Taking place on Saturday, May 5, Live at Leeds has become a sheer rival for Liverpool Sound City –  another multi-venue festival taking place on the same day.  While Sound City has the likes of DMA’s and Black Honey for its 2018 edition, Live at Leeds have also just added the fluorescent Superorganism, party-starters YAK  and none-other than the notorious boys in the band, Cabbage.  A firm fan-favourite, Rae Morris is also set to once again grace the stage of Live at Leeds 2018,

Speaking about the return to the Leeds festival, Morris says: “I first played Live at Leeds in 2012 so I’m super happy to be returning again with new music.’

“So many of my first gigging experiences happened around Leeds with it being one of the closest cities to Blackpool where I grew up. It’s a special place and audiences are always amazingly enthusiastic which I love.”

Elsewhere on the updated poster, you can find Broken Witt Rebels, Glaswegian trio, The Van T’s, hometown rockers, Fizzy Blood, soul sister, Emily Capell and of course, The Blinders.  No festival lineup in 2018 would be complete without The Blinders, who have grown in dominating force over the last 12 months. Their performance is set to be simply mindblowing.

However, the biggest name to join the 2018 lineup is without a doubt, The Vaccines.  With their forthcoming record Combat Sports waiting in the wings, The Vaccines are set to blow crowds away with their brand-new ‘yet-to-be-heard’ songs as well as tracks from their first three albums – What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?, Come Of Age and English Graffiti. They will join Peace and Circa Waves at the top of the bill.
