VIDEO: Hull punks LIFE share video for ‘Sugar God’

Taken from their debut album Popular Music, which they unleashed on the public earlier this year, LIFE have shared the video for ‘Sugar God,’ the album’s final offering.

Seeing lead singer Mez Sanders-Green boozy and frenetic in the back of a car, ‘Sugar God’ is a fittingly feverish final hurrah from Popular Music. As Mez says:

“Our album sounds like panic and anxiety, it’s the sound of shitting it about whatever happens next week, about what you weigh through on the self-checkout to get your beans cheaper. It’s an LP made up of the psyche of everyone who can see they’re getting fucked and there’s a lot of people getting fucked right now”

The video comes as LIFE prepare to hit the road with Nadine Shah and Idles. Watch here:
