Video Premiere: Deux Furieuses – ‘Silenced By The Roar’

With last year’s debut topping multiple ‘album of the year’ lists, and having previously received acclaim from the likes of Q Magazine and XFM’s John Kennedy, Deux Furieuses played their biggest gig to date last month, supporting Frank Turner at The Roundhouse. Now, the Anglo-Scottish agit punk duo have now shared a powerful new single, in anticipation of tomorrow’s election…

Oozing an eerie sense of impending doom and strewn with a haunting intensity, ‘Silenced By The Roar’ seethes with a fist-clenching power as the duo blast out thrashing beats and ferocious riffs, building to a raging, riotous climax. As they plead “give me some hope…”, you can’t help but feel their desperation as we await the outcome of tomorrow’s vote. It’s a stirring creation filled with an intense and necessary ferocity and might, that we all need now more than ever.

So, get out there tomorrow, vote for hope, and cast your eyes upon the majestic, punk-fuelled power of the new video from Deux Furieuses:
