Video Premiere: Fred Abbott – ‘Funny How Good It Feels’

Skilled multi-instrumentalist, and former member of Noah And The Whale, Fred Abbott is today releasing the deluxe edition of his critically acclaimed debut album, Serious Poke.

Following a bout of fantastic live shows – including sold out sets at The Borderline and The Islington – Abbott recorded the album with the help of a few Noah And The Whale pals, along with producers Fred and Martin Hollis (Take That, The Rolling Stones). Including a number of added acoustic bonus tracks and various remixes, this new edition is set to impress with its uptempo rock ‘n’ roll.

To celebrate the release of this deluxe album, Abbott has now shared a new lyric video for the radio mix of track ‘Funny How Good It Feels’. An infectious, joy-filled slice of nostalgic rock, the catchy track is accompanied by a tongue-in-cheek visual ode to ’80s advertising.

So, grab yourselves some dancing shoes, leg-warmers, and a questionable haircut, and get ready to enjoy the exuberant, uplifting sounds of Fred Abbott.
