Video Premiere: Miranda Lee Richards – ‘Colors So Fine’

The daughter of underground comic book artists, and taught to play guitar by Metallica’s Kirk Hammet, LA-based singer songwriter Miranda Lee Richards has previously worked with The Brian Jonestown Massacre, but has been creating her own solo work since 2001.

With her latest album out now, Richards has now shared a new video for single ‘Colors So Fine’. Flowing with delicate, twinkling melodies and a captivating psychedelic haze, it’s a beautiful slice of folk-pop accompanied by a charming, nostalgia-tinged visual. Of the video, Miranda explains:

“The look of the video was inspired by beautiful meditation experience I had. I met myself as a child and got to spend time with her. We were both weightless, playing in a golden field, in an idyllic setting.”
