Manchester guitar virtuoso, Mikey Guitar (Michael Reed), has just released his first solo record. An album filled with diverse instrumental pieces, Fables is utterly unique in style and sound. Crowd-funded in just under a week via the Indiegogo platform, it’s a pretty impressive feat.

Taken from the record, Mikey has now shared lead single ‘Emilie’. The only track containing a guest vocal (Greg Matthews), it’s a beautiful tale of unrequited love oozing shades of ’60s psychedelic pop. Melodic bliss.
