*VIDEO PREMIERE* OH BROTHER SHARE KARAOKE STYLE VISUAL ‘RUNNING OUT’

Not afraid to have some fun with the lyrical and visual side of their releases, London four piece OH BROTHER (fronted by enigmatic singer/songwriter Jake Leslau and lead guitarist Luke Cave) return today with this 80’s karaoke style lyric video for their new single ‘Running Out’ which also lands today.

Musically ‘Running Out’ is bombastic mix of chunky guitars and irreverent lyrics, and like it’s predecessor ‘Hopeless Romantic’, it sees the band explore a more guitar driven sound, boosted by working with famed producer Ian Davenport (credits include Demob Happy and Band of Skulls). The result of the collab is a bolder, more barnstorming sound that captures the band’s live set. Speaking of the track Jake explains:

“I (Brother Jake) was once sorely let down by a group of people who, simply put, I felt had done me dirty. This song takes you on a musical adventure through my, at the time, very angry brain. Starting peacefully as we meander along a trail of thought and reflection before it takes you to its final destination – a not so tranquil, rage-fuelled, cathartic rock and roll tirade”

After returning fresh from quarantine, the band release today a bizarre cult-like video, asking fans to join them on their ‘eternal quest for an elevated, rock and roll orientated existence or something like that’. Well it seems OH BROTHER are here to provide you with the answers. Albeit to questions no one has really asked. Sounds bizarre? Check it out here:

In 2019 OH BROTHER took the stage at The Great Escape before playing All Points East and their first sold out headline show in London later in the year. Their self-produced debut What’s The Point’ was added to Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist and the music video has been viewed over 1M times on Facebook. They went on to record their subsequent EP entitled Catastrophe’ with producer Neil Comber (known for his work with MIA, Goldfrapp and Placebo).
