VIDEO PREMIERE: Watch Spilt Milk Society’s cinematic new video for ‘Amsterdam’

Following the release of their newest single ‘Amsterdam,’ Birmingham’s Spilt Milk Society are today sharing the accompanying cinematic video.

The track – actually written in the capital of the Netherlands – follows a character through the streets of Amsterdam on a journey of self-discovery, brought to life in the new video which sees two party-goers spice up their evening with a sneaky bottle of milk. After drinking some milk they return to the once tedious party to find that things have changed a lot. The events ultimately end with members of Spilt Milk Society, Josh Hyde and Harry Handford, being sacrificed by a ring of cow

Though the track certainly has a deeper social awareness, tackling issues of social anxiety and drug culture, the overall message is to break free from the mundane day-to-day cycle, and in their own indie/funk, Spilt Milk Society are helping us do just that.
