Having formed whilst studying music in Liverpool, Zoe Nicol and Rosie Jones- aka Worry Dolls – create tender folk creations with a unique edge. Influenced by the likes of Dixie Chicks and Mumford And Sons, the duo skilfully combine intricate finger-picked, folk-inspired melodies with delicate, impassioned vocals.
Ahead of the release of a debut album next year, Worry Dolls have now shared a new track. Filled with luscious harmonies, and a Nashville-inspired Americana sound, ‘Bless Your Heart’ is a truly catchy, musically rich offering. Apparently written as a warning to the girlfriend of an ex, it’s a charming slice of folk-pop.
