Watch: Arcade Fire cover Kansas’ ‘Dust In The Wind’ at Kansas City gig

Arcade Fire’s current world tour has only added to their notoriety for fantastical costumes and surprise features.

Following covers of Blondie’s ‘Heart Of Glass’ in Texas and Stevie Wonder’s ‘Uptight (Everything’s Alright)’ in Michigan, the latest addition to their repertoire of covers has been ‘Dust In The Wind’ by Kansas, to match their playing at Kansas City, Missouri on April 26.

The irony was not lost on frontman Win Butler, who mocked after the song, ‘Guys, that was really beautiful, but that’s a Kansas song and we’re in fuckin’ Missouri.’

As closing headliner’s of Coachella 2014, the Canadian band brought onto stage TV host Jonathon Ross and two people dressed as Daft Punk.

Arcade Fire are set to bring their tour to the UK in June, where they’ll play London’s Earls Court on June 6 and 7. They will also be headlining on the Friday at Glastonbury, which this year takes place between June 27 and 29.
