WATCH: Baby In Vain - 'To Heaven And Back'

If skateboards, mopeds, and brilliant bands are three of your favourite things; you should feast your eyes on Baby In Vain‘s new video ‘To Heaven And Back’. Directed by Palle Demant, the video sees guitarists Lola and Andrea on their boards, casually hitching a ride from drummer Benedicte’s moped. Inspired by the visuals of Californian bands in the early days of MTV, the video was shot in one complete take, using an ENG DVCAM 90s style camera.

We’ve been following this Copenhagen-based trio for a while here at Gigslutz, and we’re excited to hear their upcoming debut album More Nothing, which will be released on 25th August via Partisan Records. It was recorded in 11 days in Eve Studios with producer Rob Ellis (PJ Harvey, Scott Walker, Bat For Lashes), and if it sounds anything like their previous EP For The Kids; we’re in for another corrosive, ear-melting treat.

The band have shared stages with the likes of PINS, Jesus And Mary Chain, and The Kills, and they’ll be supporting Deap Valley at their Fluffer Pit Party on 23rd August at a secret East London venue. Baby In Vain will also be appearing at Reading & Leeds this summer, and details of a full UK tour will be released next week.
