WATCH: Bob Vylan – ‘Clapped In †he Dome… 2Pac’s Home’

Newcomer Bob Vylan‘s narrative is not for the faint-hearted. He’s an orphan. He’s been homeless on more than one occasion. He once lived in a small village abroad commonly referred to as ‘Sandtown’, but returned to England when he received news that his longtime friend and manager had died. These painful and unusual circumstances are what make his music so raw and distinctive.

In his debut single ‘Clapped In †he Dome… 2Pac’s Home’, multi-instrumentalist Vylan delivers an ominous three minutes of rap & punk that drip with adrenaline and rage. The accompanying video was shot entirely on Mini DV by Yoko Luv (Vylan’s wife) and directed and edited by Vylan himself. Despite the track’s “delinquent” nature, it offers a brief and intriguing insight into some of the experiences that made Vylan who he is today. Watch the video for ‘Clapped In The Dome… 2Pac’s Home’ below and keep your eyes and ears open for more from this DIY newcomer.
