WATCH: Catfish and the Bottlemen Up-Close and Personal: CONVERSATION video features unseen shots and in colour..

Previously unseen, candid images of Catfish and the Bottlemen in the studio, on the road and enjoying down time feature in the video for Conversation, the latest single to emerge from the band’s hit, third album, The Balance. Out now on Island Records, the video blends shots from the band’s private archive to create an intimate portrait of life in one of Britain’s most-successful and tight-knit bands.

Produced by Trunk Animation, who also created the 2018 animated promo for The Beatles’ Glass Onion, the short film animates and treats photographs with swathes of colour – an exciting change in visual approach for the typically monochromatic quartet.

Catfish and the Bottlemen follow last weekend’s headline festival slots at Citadel Festival, London and TRNSMT, Glasgow with further UK arena shows in November – including the recently announced shows in Glasgow and Aberdeen – and a one-off, intimate show in Sheffield for Radio X in August. All confirmed forthcoming dates are as follows:

Mon 5 Aug 2019 Sheffield, O₂ Academy (for Radio X)
Mon 4 Nov 2019 Birmingham, Birmingham Arena
Tue 5 Nov 2019 Newcastle, Utilita Arena
Thu 7 Nov 2019 Aberdeen, P&J Live
Fri 8 Nov 2019 Glasgow, SSE Hydro
Sun 10 Nov 2019 Liverpool, M&S Bank Arena
Mon 11 Nov 2019 Leeds, First Direct Arena

Conversation follows 2all and Longshot, as the third single to be lifted from The Balance, with Longshot being the band’s most successful single to date, achieving 45 million worldwide streams since its release in January.
