WATCH: Charlotte Turnbull shares visuals for new track ‘Sundown’

Having brought you the audio for Charlotte Turnbull’s superb track ‘Sundown‘ back in April, we’re excited to finally be able to share the visuals for the very same track. Directed by Pep and Kirk Basett, the video sees Charlotte at a house party expressing her undying love and loyalty to her promiscuous love interest.

Exciting rapper/producer/director & Gigslutz favourite Pep also manages to make a short cameo as a pizza delivery guy, having become a huge supporter of Charlotte’s over the last few years with the 19 year old set to feature on his upcoming EP ‘No Stars’.

Talking about the video Charlotte said, “Sundown is actually a really old song! I wrote it back when I was in college, probably about two years ago now! At the time of writing it I was just starting to figure out the sort of direction I wanted to go lyrically, which is probably why it means quite a lot to me because it is one of the first songs I ever wrote! Concept wise it is a love song but not how you would typically expect! Being in a relationship when you’re young means it’s very rare for other people to take it seriously because of your age! Plus there’s the whole ‘Player’ persona with our generation which I think is why people don’t expect much from relationships now! Sooo… I wrote ‘Sundown’ to talk about and to explain that it’s not weird to be loyal to someone you care about, even at a young age!”

‘Sundown’ is taken from Charlotte’s forthcoming debut EP Making My Way and if you like what you hear you can catch Charlotte’s EP Launch Party down at The Old Blue Last in London on Monday 4th July. Tickets are free so make sure you register here if you want to head down there. It’s set to be an amazing show hosted by Jade Avia and featuring special guests including Pep and more to be announced.
