WATCH: IV Rox share visuals for ‘Down For Me’ featuring Ghetts

Perfectly mixing the sounds of R&B or pop with grime has been something that many artists have tried to do over the years. Some have done a decent job (Tinchy Stryder ‘Never Leave You’) and others not such a good job (Dizzee Rascal ‘Goin Crazy’). Thankfully though, Raquel, Natalie, Dolly and Nadine aka IV Rox have teamed up with grime legend and Gigslutz favourite Ghetts to show everyone how it should be done.

‘Down For Me’ is the perfect fusion between the gritty grime sound and melodic R&B vibes and produced by renowned grime producer Davinche, it’s no wonder. Having produced tracks for Tinchy Stryder, Kano and Sadie Ama, the South East Londoner knows exactly how to make a huge beat and ‘Down For Me’ is no exception.

But it’s not only the beat that makes this a massive track; the smooth harmonies from IV Rox are on point throughout whilst each member of the group offers their own unique individual vocal flair to the track, showcasing their versatility as a collective. Combining the groups sweet, melodic vocals with Ghetts’ rapid fire bars has proved to be a masterstroke and the merging of the two makes for an irresistible listen.
