Having gone through the traumatic experience of losing everything she owned, and had ever written, in a gas explosion in her building last year, Laura Gibson has spent the last 12 months trying to rebuild her life. Whilst being very grateful not to have been harmed during the explosion, Gibson has now tried to re-write all that she lost.
Her latest single ‘Empire Builder’ sees Gibson tell the tale of a life turned upside-down and the emotive experience of transformation. Flowing with delicate melodies and Gibson’s beautifully raw vocals, this is a spellbinding offering that most certainly proves all is not lost for this talented songwriter.
