WATCH: London Meets Toronto on ‘How We Roll’ from D-Rymez

With the eyes of the world firmly focussed on the UK urban music scene right now, there are a lot of exciting collaborations with the potential to happen. One that has already happened though is between West London rapper D-Rymez and Toronto resident Laioung who teamed up for their track ‘How We Roll’.

Featuring a hard-hitting, menacing trap beat, ‘How We Roll’ is a brilliant fusion of both UK and Canadian sounds. It would be easy for either artist to be consumed by the others traditional sound, but both work together perfectly, with the track taking a number of elements from each area and creating a superb blend.

Laioung’s hook certainy makes us want to “turn up”, whilst D-Rymez sprays some serious bars throughout, making this a track that we will undoubtedly have on repeat. Having previously worked alongside the likes of Z Dot on his tracks, this is the first time D-Rymez has linked up with an overseas artist and there’s no reason that he shouldn’t do it again given the quality of ‘How We Roll’.

Check out the video for the track below and make sure you’re following both D-Rymez and Laioung on Twitter to keep up with all the latest news and info from each of them respectively.
