Following four singles, Swedish Feminist pop trio The Magnettes are now set to release their debut album at the end of this month. Set on crushing the patriarchy, and society’s damaging expectations of women, they have now also shared a hypnotic new video for their single ‘So Bad’.
Strewn with sugar-sweet vocals and twinkling melodies, alongside glitchy beats and a gritty, empowering edge, ‘So Bad’ reflects on “people’s fucked-up double standards”. With its soaring, shimmering energy and powerful message, it’s a truly infectious slice of unique funk-pop.
