WATCH: Minihorse – ‘Thriller’

If you’ve woken up to the realisation that your dreams have “no meaning” and all the “circuit wiring” in your brain is merely a “harness for trapping delusions” – you need to listen to Minihorse. Guitarist Ben Collins had this epiphany before writing latest track ‘Thriller’, which is taken from the band’s new EP Big Lack (available now via Friendship Fever Records).

Minihorse have just returned from a successful stint at SXSW, and the Michigan trio have shared a new video to accompany ‘Thriller’. The video was shot and directed by Collins, who explains the plot: “The Chauffeur is preparing for another night of work. He’s got a number of pickups to make. A woman got burned in a house fire, so she’ll need a pickup. A man is drinking himself to death at the bar, so he’ll need a pickup too. Everyone gets picked up eventually. But some jobs are harder than others.”

The Big Lack EP was tracked at Collins’ home studio, and the laid-back, fuzzy sounds will take you back to a time when it felt like you had all the time in the world – but now you’re “approaching the void with a pack of cigarettes”. Watch the video for ‘Thriller’ below, and follow Minihorse on Facebook for more updates.
