WATCH: Sway shares first single from new album ‘Stream It’

“Stream it, Shazam it, download it then we have it” is the chorus behind ‘Stream It‘, the first official track to be shared from Sway’s forthcoming album Deliverance.

Having shared his recent lyric video trailer for the album, Sway is back at it again with another lyric video and whilst for many artists it can be a pretty basic and boring concept, with the lyrical content and genius that Sway has in his rhymes, it actually adds to the track as we get to read along with Sway as he spits his witty and clever bars.

Following on from ‘Download’ and ‘Upload’, tracks that featured on his 2006 album This Is My Demo and 2008’s The Signature LP respectively, ‘Stream It’ discusses the impatient nature of the current day and the effects that being able to instantly stream music has on artists financially, compared to download sales.

Featuring afro-beats star Mista Silva, ‘Stream It’ is a fun and entertaining introduction to an album that promises so much for fans of the North London rapper and maintains Sway’s trademark production style that we have been used to hearing on previous releases.
