WATCH: The Cribs share remotely made video for ‘Be Safe’ featuring Lee Ranaldo

The Cribs have today shared a remotely made one-off video for Be Safe, a track taken from their third album, Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever.

Originally released in 2007, and an appropriate message for current times, the video features Sonic Youth’s Lee Ranaldo who provided the spoken word vocal railing against the ills of the modern world on the original track.

Talking about the video, the band said:

Got the old band back together (despite being separated by thousands of miles!) for a fashionably late isolation video, our first ‘live’ performance in almost 2 years! Feel like the title of the song is quite pertinent at the minute, and hope you’re all looking out for each other. Love, The Cribs.

The Cribs released their Steve Albini produced seventh album, 24-7 Rock Star Shit in 2017.
