Weirds announce debut album ‘Swarmculture’

Leeds psych-grunge quartet Weirds have announced the details of their debut album Swarmculture.

Swarmculture is set for release on May 12 via Alcopop! Records. The record was recorded with Matt Peel (Pulled Apart By Horses, Eagulls) at The Nave, a Leeds studio built into a converted church.

The name Swarmculture was inspired by bassist Matthew Vaughan saw a flock of starlings in the studio courtyard, triggering thoughts in colonial behaviour and it transcends into multiple species, including humankind.

The album features ‘Valley Of Vision’, which was released last month, and their latest single ‘Phantom that you can check out below!
