WEIRDS reveal video for new single 'Phantom'

Leeds band WEIRDS have unveiled the video for their brand-new single, ‘Phantom’.

‘Phantom’ is the latest instalment to the WEIRDS legacy. The band are currently gearing up to release their debut album, SWARMCULTURE. The first studio LP from the group will be available to purchase from May 26, via Alcopop! Records.

According to Aidan Razzall from the four-piece, the video for ‘Phantom’ “stands in stark simplicity. We sought to achieve the exact opposite from our previous video for ‘Valley of Vision’, which was a more cinematic and dramatic story.”

Razzall has also said via official press release that the track “is probably the poppiest and most colourful track we’ve written so it was a conscious decision to create a tension in the video between the psychedelic sonic world and the stark, brutal visual one.”

The song in question has already been aired by the likes of Radio X and BBC Radio 1. You can watch the newly-released video for ‘Phantom’ below.
