Fresh from supporting Bring Me The Horizon across Europe, YONAKA will play an intimate show for This Feeling at The Macbeth, London this Thursday – 17th January. Support will come from Blackwaters, Sophie and The Giants and a DJ set from The Libertines’, Carl Barat. The show 75-capacity show will serve as a warm-up for their forthcoming Radio X performance at The Garage, London on January 29th.
Currently working on their debut album, Brighton-based four-piece, YONAKA, are gearing-up for some exciting announcements over the coming weeks. All proceeds from their forthcoming gig will go to The Cybersmile Foundation, a non-profit organisation, whom educate kids on being safe online as well as providing advice to youngsters who are being bullied or having a hard time in the cyberspace.
Since bursting onto the scene last year, YONAKA have grown their live picture enormously. Following the release of two critically-acclaimed EP’s – ‘Heavy’ and ‘Creature’ – and after becoming a hotly-tipped billing on last summer’s European festival circuit with performances at Meltdown, Opener, Primavera and Reading & Leeds festival (to name a few), YONAKA continue to dominate the live sphere with their frenzied performances; a band that are clearly masters of their own landscape, who’s future ls set to be huge.
