Yung Lean shares new track as Jonatan Leandoer 127

Sweden’s saddest boy Yung Lean has shared another track, Vampire Blues, from his new musical project Jonatan Leandoer 127.

Lean, aka Jonatan Leandoer Håstad, has stripped his ‘cloud rap’ back to its piano basics to croon about his desires to dance and never sleep, and has kept the typical gloom the Sad Boys are known for.

The release is accompanied by a night-in-the-life of Jonatan in Stockholm. It follows him sitting on chairs surrounded by rubble and walking through multi-storey car parks.

The track follows on from ‘Diamond Hill’, which was released earlier this year in May.

As well as releasing two tracks as Jonatan Leandoer 127, Håstad has been working on new material as Yung Lean. He is set to play his biggest headline show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on November 21. Alongside his performance, ‘Wings of Desire’ will see special guests, performers, art exhibitions, a pop-up shop selling exclusive items for that show and more to be announced.
