As part of their run of global shows in 2023, Interpol have announced a handful of UK headline dates in May, June and July. The limited run will commence May 28 in Brighton, proceeding to Leeds, Edinburgh and Bristol. The band will then return to play the O2 Academy in Liverpool on July 9. Support will come from fellow Matador label mates Water From Your Eyes. Spring and summer will see the band at the top of a number of festival bills, including Corona Capital (Mexico), Outside Lands (USA), Best Kept Secret (NL), Sideways (Finland), Rock Werchter (Belgium), Low Festival (Spain), as well as taking their classic second album “Antics” as a one off show to headline Days Off Festival at the Philharmonie de Paris (France). Alongside the upcoming dates, Interpol will be unveiling a collaborative project throughout 2023, with further details to follow. Interpol released their 7th album, “The Other Side Of Make-Believe”, in July 2022 to critical acclaim. MOJO called the album “quietly masterful”, Clash hailed it as “some of the boldest, most uncompromising work of their career”, and NME described it as “a confident, rewarding and subtly adventurous new chapter”.
