Album Premiere: Singapore Sling – ‘Kill Kill Kill (Songs About Nothing)’

Having formed back in 2000, cult Icelandic band Singapore Sling are back with their ninth album. With their trademark haunting psychedelic sound, the band look set to wow listeners with their latest offering.

Kill Kill Kill (Songs About Nothing) is a collection of ten tracks, each oozing its own fuzz-filled splendour. Filled with discordant psychedelic sounds alongside sweeping rock ‘n’ roll, with distinct The Jesus And Mary Chain vibes, the album exudes an intense, and truly innovative, dissonant grandeur. In a scuzzy, off-kilter sonic haze, Singapore Sling have managed to create something that is at the same time hypnotically majestic, and somewhat disturbing. (And Track 7 is a personal favourite…)
