The third album from alt-J, RELAXER is officially out in the world to stream, purchase and download now.
Described by NME as “a weird pop juggernaut with a sinister side”, the eight-tracker from alt-J features songs such as: ‘Hit Me Like That Snare’, ‘House of the Rising Sun’ and ‘Adeline’.
The “gorgeous and utterly baffling” new record from alt-J follows from the 2014 BRIT and GRAMMY Award-nominated This Is All Yours and their debut 2012 release, An Awesome Wave, which won the Mercury Prize in 2012. The latest effort from alt-J has been released via Infectious Music in formats including heavyweight vinyl and cassette.
RELAXER has been produced by Charlie Andrew, whom alt-J recruited for the third time and was recorded throughout London, in locations such as Brixton and Shoreditch.
Recently, the now-trio released a series of UK tour dates. Venues alt-J will perform in this September include Brighton’s Centre (4), Bournemouth’s O2 Academy (6) and Blackpool’s Empress Ballroom (9). For a full list of alt-J’s upcoming tour dates, click
