Anna Calvi and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard announced for Green Man 2018

The second wave of artists have been revealed for Green Man festival 2018, including Friday night headliner King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, alongside Anna Calvi – who performs at the festival for the first time since 2015 – Floating Points and the well-loved Cate Le Bon.

These artists, including the iconic Joan as a Policewoman and Simian Mobile Disco, will all perform at this years edition of Green Man, which runs from Thursday, August 16 – Sunday, August 19.  They also join the previously-announced Fleet Foxes and The War On Drugs –  both respectively are set to headline the event.

Excitingly, Green Man 2018 sees King Gizzard stepping up to top a UK festival bill for the first time in their kooky and fruitful careers. The band, who released a stunning five records under their name in 2017 and who regularly curate their own festival ‘Gizzfest’ in their homeland of Australia, will be a magnificent spectacle, and a real treat for Green Man goers.

Held in the mystical Brecon Beacons in Wales, the 16 edition of celebrations is set to feature 10 unique areas, each one hosting a slice of something for everyone.  Whether that be treating yourself to a tipple at the beer and cider festival, a voyage into discovery at the kid’s corner or simply a temporary submersion in the arts, including literature and comedy: Green Man 2018 has it all.

Tickets for the event are available to purchase now.  See below for the updated festival poster.

Green Man 2018 takes place in the Brecon Beacons, Wales, on August 16-19.
