Arctic Monkeys, Interpol and Tom Grennan set for TRNSMT 2018

Glasgow’s TRNSMT festival has revealed their fourth and final headliner will take the form of Arctic Monkeys.

At this moment in time, Arctic Monkeys’ newly-announced TRNSMT headline slot is the bands only UK festival date.  This means that the Scottish festival is a must for AM fans who are unable to get themselves to one of the bands European dates, which include Mad Cool fest, Primavera Sound and SZIGET.

While the limelight has been thrown on AM, it does not dampen the excitement surrounding the other, new, all-male additions to the TRNSMT bill.  These include Stockport’s Blossoms, Alex Turner’s partner in crime, Miles Kane, Nothing But Thieves, Declan McKenna, the fantastic Tom Grennan and, the big one – Interpol.

All of the acts mentioned above will be “joining the Sheffield foursome on the main stage” in Glasgow on July 1.

The first weekend of TRNSMT itself takes place between June 29-July 1 and is headlined by Stereophonics, Liam Gallagher and the newly-announced Arctic Monkeys. The second weekend of TRNSMT will see The Killers and Chvrches taking to the stage on Sunday, July 8.  The previous Friday (July 6) bill is yet to be announced.  Keep your eyes peeled for more!

Already TRNSMT, being held at the infamous Glasgow Green is looking to be the UK festival event of the year.  If you are signed up to the official TRNSMT emailing list, an exclusive resale link will be arriving in your inbox soon.  Tickets via this pre-sale link will be available at 9 am tomorrow.

Arctic Monkeys are back in the driving seat, and we could not be more excited!
