Cotton Clouds Festival will take place in Saddleworth, Oldham, in the setting of the Peak District National Park on August 12 2017.

The festival is brought to you by Twisted Wheel’s the Lees Brothers, Rick and Max. In the past two years they’ve been touring Tim Peaks Diner around the UK’s major festivals and also launched Howling Rhythm club night in Manchester.

Speaking about the festival, the Leeds brothers said: “Having played and worked at many festivals across the UK and Europe over the last 8 years we’ve built up the knowledge and contacts to finally make this work.

“Saddleworth is a beautiful setting for a festival and has a rich musical heritage but there hasn’t been a music event of this scale here since The Jam played here in 1979. We hope to build a reputable event that becomes part of the UK festival scene over the coming years.”

Two indoor stages will be curated by Tim Peak’s Diner (of Tim Burgess/Charlatans fame) and Jimmy’s Manchester (One Night Only’s new bar).

There’ll be plenty to entertain the kids with a activities area offering creative kicks, face painting, badge-making, arts and crafts classes and much more.

Specially selected food stalls, pop-up bars and a real ale tent will be around the festival site, serving a wide range of food and drinks for all tastes.

Tickets are priced at £39 + fees and will be available here from 9am on Friday (April 21).
