The Cribs announce ‘Men’s Needs, Woman’s Needs, Forever’ 10th anniversary tour

The Cribs have announced that they’ll be heading on tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever.

The tour will kick off in Glasgow on May 11, and then see them play Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Bristol and London until May 18. They’ll then close the tour with a huge show at Leeds’ First Direct Arena on May 20. Full dates are below.

The Cribs said in a statement on Facebook: “Once upon a time, the idea of embarking on a tour focusing on a specific period of the past would’ve been met with a resounding “Hell no!”. […] When writing an album, you (not so) secretly hope that 10 years down the line people will still care about it, still listen to it and get something out of it whatever that may be.

In short, this isn’t The Cribs indulging ourselves and reliving the past – it’s more just a big THANK YOU to all of you that have been with us throughout the years, and a ‘welcome aboard’ to those who missed it the first time around.”
