DODGY BACK IN THE UK TOP 40 WITH NEW SINGLE “HELLO BEAUTIFUL”

Dodgy’s triumphant return continues, with their brand-new single “Hello Beautiful” storming into the official UK singles sales chart at number 22 and climbing to number three in the physical singles chart last week. The result marks the band’s first Top 40 single in over a decade and confirms their enduring appeal with fans old and new.

Released September 26th on Flip Flop Records, “Hello Beautiful” is the first single from the band’s forthcoming sixth studio album of the same name, due May 2026. A shimmering slice of optimism and melody, it’s classic Dodgy – yet full of fresh energy that has clearly struck a chord.

Singer Nigel Clark said: “We’re blown away by the response. To be back in the Top 40 after all these years is something really special – it feels like a proper homecoming. We want to thank every single person who’s supported us, bought the single, streamed it, or come down to a show. It means the world.

“The tour so far has been incredible – such a buzz in every venue. Seeing people singing the new songs back at us alongside the old ones is exactly why we do this. We’ve got a few dates left and tickets are flying, so if you want to join the party, now’s the time.”

Drummer Mathew Priest added: “The momentum around Hello Beautiful is fantastic. It’s proof that after 35 years, people still connect with what Dodgy is all about. We honestly feel like we’re just getting started again.”

The band’s UK headline tour kicked off October 2nd in Edinburgh and continues throughout the month, with shows selling fast. A run of special co-headline dates with Black Grape follows in late November and December, bringing Dodgy’s biggest year in decades to a celebratory close.
