Nieves are a four-piece from Glasgow, originally formed as a duo Brendan Dafters (vocals & guitar) and Herre de Leur (piano), the first self-titled EP was released in 2014. Following the highly acclaimed self-titled release, the band grew to develop their sound with the addition of Martin Murray (guitar) and Ross Forsyth (drums) in the autumn of 2014.
‘Roughcast’, a stunning track, is the follow up to last single ‘Broken Oars’, which received support from Radio X, Virgin Radio, BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio and more. On this evidence, expect plenty more radio and buzz, this is a band going places.
