It takes a very special band to (after close to 20 years) re-unite and sound better than ever, but that’s exactly what 90s shoe-gaze legends Ride have only gone and done. Their comeback show at London’s Roundhouse May 2015 was one of the best gigs we’ve ever seen. This and the other new track up on line ‘Home is a Feeling’ prove this is no nostalgia trip. Ride are back, properly back.

The follow-up to 1996’s Tarantula is due out sometime this summer via Wichita Recordings produced by by super producer Erol Alkan (and super fan…Erol used to be the first to play Ride’s records at renowned London club night, Cabbage Patch, back in the 90s) . The love, the passion, the input of joy from all involved it shines, gloriously. Cannot wait for the album.
