This Feeling Track of the Day : The Spitfires ft Emily Capell ‘By My Side’

The Spitfires third album sees the band return in emphatic form as the band address the degradation of working class culture head on in typically uncompromising fashion. Stand out tracks, on by far their best and most sonically advanced album yet, are the reggae tinged ‘Move On’, the snarling riposte of ‘The New Age’, the soaring ‘A Thousand Times’ and the heart felt, piano-driven ballad  ‘By My Side’ which sees Billy duet with singer/songwriter Emily Capell. One of the stand out tracks of 2018, let alone the album. Utterly spine tingling.
