Field Music, Carnival Youth and more in second wave of names announced for Are You Listening? Festival 2018

Returning to Reading in aid of Reading Mencap, Are You Listening? Festival is set to takeover multiple venues in on 28 April. This morning, they’ve announced an impressive second wave of names.

First up, joining the bill, are Sunderland’s Field Music. Favourites of Prince, and Mercury Prize nominees, there ones to keep an eye on, and with a new album out in February will bring a healthy dose of excitement to the festival.

Breakbeat pioneers Plump DJs are also set to bring their four-deck DJ set to the Festival, alongisde krautdance duo Warm Digits, Latvia’s pop maestros Carnival Youth – following a support slot with Red Hot Chili Peppers last summer – and Radio 1’s Phil Taggart, who certainly knows how to start a party.

Elsewhere, Leeds’ Mush, Reading’s own Saltwater Sun, Animal House and The August List join the ranks.

Slotting in amongst the likes of Yonaka, Idles, and Steve Lamacq, the new acts further an already stellar lineup, making AYL? the perfect way to kickstart festival season.
