Fleetwood Mac set to headline Wembley Stadium in 2019

Summer 2019 is looking sweet, as Fleetwood Mac has announced a gig at Wembley Stadium.  Performances are due to take place in Dublin and Berlin too.

Players only love you when they are playing, and that is exactly what Fleetwood Mac is planning to do in three European cities in June 2019.  Beginning on June 06, Fleetwood Mac will embark on a mini-tour of Europe.  First stop sees the iconic group hopping over to Berlin, before setting up camp in Dublin on June 13 and then heading over for what is to be an unforgettable show at Wembley Stadium in London (16).

The dates come after veteran guitarist, Lindsay Buckingham, was sacked from the group due to “scheduling conflicts” back in April.  He has since been replaced by Crowded House frontman, Neil Finn and Mike Campbell from the Heartbreakers.  They join Mick Fleetwood, Christine and John McVie and powerhouse Stevie Nicks.

Speaking about Campbell and Finn joining the team, Fleetwood himself said: “We jammed with Mike and Neil and the chemistry really worked and let the band realise that this is the right combination to go forward within Fleetwood Mac-style.’

“We know we have something new, yet it’s got the unmistakable Mac sound.”

Tickets for the trio of European shows are due to be available to purchase from Friday 26 October at 9 am.  Be prepared for the rush, these tickets are expected to sell out almost immediately.
