Live At Melbourne Hall has unveiled further details of its brand-new three-day outdoor festival, confirming an expanded on-site experience alongside a line-up of major UK acts set to take over the historic Derbyshire estate this summer.

Taking place 24–26 July 2026, the new open-air series will transform Crow Park at Melbourne Hall into a full festival site, combining live music, DJs, street food, bars and upgraded VIP areas across a weekend designed to draw audiences from across the Midlands and beyond.

The programme spans more than three decades of British music, with Jo Whiley’s 90s Anthems, Gary Davies 80’s Disco, Lightning Seeds, Maxïmo Park, The Shires, Ward Thomas, and more set to appear across three distinct themed days.

Opening the weekend on Friday 24 July, Jo Whiley brings her widely acclaimed 90s Anthems show to Melbourne Hall, revisiting the decade she helped soundtrack through her amazing BBC career.

Jo Whiley’s 90s Anthems is described as a high-energy, nostalgic DJ set designed as a party “time warp” through Britpop, indie, and dance music. The sets feature huge, crowd-pleasing anthems from artists like Oasis, Blur, Chemical Brothers, Fat Boy Slim and The Prodigy, aimed at delivering a euphoric and “intensely fun atmosphere.”

Jo Whiley said: “The 90s was such an important time for music and culture, and those songs still connect in a really powerful way. Bringing 90s Anthems to somewhere like Melbourne Hall, outdoors in the summer, feels like the perfect setting to relive those moments.”

Friday also sees former Top of the Pops DJ and legendary BBC Radio 2 host, Gary Davies, take to the stage with his high-energy 80s Disco Party. Expect wall-to-wall classics, dancefloor anthems and feel-good nostalgia in a show guaranteed to get the crowd moving.

Saturday’s line-up is led by Lightning Seeds, whose catalogue of hits has defined British pop and indie since the early 90s. They are joined by Maxïmo Park, performing material from across their career including recent album Stream of Life, alongside Riding The Low and Propaganda DJs.

Lightning Seeds frontman Ian Broudie said: “Outdoor shows in the summer are always special, and Melbourne Hall looks like an incredible setting. We’re looking forward to bringing those songs to a crowd that’s ready for a proper festival day.”

The weekend closes on Sunday 26 July with a strong focus on UK country and acoustic music, headlined by The Shires. They are joined by Ward Thomas, Catherine McGrath and rising artist Minna.

Crissie Rhodes of Ward Thomas continued: “There’s something really special about playing shows like this in the summer, especially in places with so much character. It’s going to be a great atmosphere and we’re really excited to be part of it.”

Beyond the music, organisers have confirmed a significant expansion of the on-site experience. The new Crow Park layout will feature fully stocked bars, a wide range of street food vendors (including vegan and vegetarian options), and an enhanced VIP offering with fast-track entry, dedicated viewing areas, private facilities, exclusive bar access and covered chill-out spaces. Limited on-site parking will also be available.

We’re not just putting on shows, we’re building a full festival environment across the entire site. The line-up speaks for itself, but just as important is the experience around it. I’m talking about the setting, the atmosphere and the level of detail we’re putting into things like VIP and the wider offer. It’s about creating a weekend people can plan around.”

With day tickets, weekend passes and VIP packages on sale, Live At Melbourne Hall is set to establish itself as a new fixture in the UK’s summer calendar, combining established artists with a setting that offers both heritage and scale.
