Gigstamp: helping you remember every great moment of a gig

Gigstamp is a new app on the market offering gig-goers a unique way to remember and share every special concert. The aim is to bring your live music experiences to social media so you can share it with everyone. It’s simple. Gigstamp locates you at a gig then gets together your name, the venue, the date and the artist name- then you choose a piece of eye-catching artwork to make your own virtual Gigstamp. Afterwards, you can share it with fellow fans and friends easily as the app links directly to Facebook and twitter. What’s not to love? It’s like a virtual version of your bedroom wall with a million tickets strewn across it- the only difference; it’s all a bit more manageable.

Brought to you all by Gordon Duncan of music PR agency APB and Dave Taylor at www.pogokid.com they are really passionate about their app and are adamant that it’s got more than just sentimental value. Gordon told us, “It should also put an end to arguments about whether you did actually see that huge stadium band back when they played the pub round the corner” – because GigStamp geo-locates you at the show at the right time, you do have to be there to get a Stamp’. Wouldn’t that be useful to determine what lucky fellow first caught the likes of Arctic Monkeys in Sheffield’s finest pub?

Well, of course an app this fantastic is going to be big. Gigslutz have been trialing the app and can confirm it is a must. Currently all lucky iPhone users can get their grip on it now in the Apple App store and soon Android and Windows users will be able to join them, so no worries. Download Gigstamp now and tweet them @gigstamp or facebook.com/pages/Gig-stamp to let them know how much you love it.

Hi, i'm Corrine. I'm 16 and from London. My hobbies include blogging (chaoticcorrine.blogspot.com), spending all my money on vinyl and clothes, gig-going and avidly procrastinating. I would love to be a journalist, but my main wish is for The Smiths and Oasis to reform.
