Gorillaz, the now iconic collaboration between Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewitt are set to kick off their The Mountain tour at Bradford Live.
It’s the first time the group are set to perform in the city, with Albarn last stepping foot in the city back in 1993 with Blur.
The two shows are set to take place on 13th and 14th of March at Bradford Live, the newly opened art-deco venue now finally restored to its Victorian elegance before the band kick off their tour of the UK and Ireland in support of their upcoming album, ‘The Mountain’.
The album is set to be released on 20th of Marchand features collaborations with the likes of: Johnny Marr, Gruff Rhys, IDLES and Sparks, with the collection of 15 songs being an eclectic mix of styles and genres, a blending that has come to embody the very spirit of Gorillaz.
