Green Man Festival adds Kate Tempest, Sleaford Mods and The Shins to line-up

Brecon Beacons-based festival Green Man has now, appropriately on Wales’ national day of celebration, announced even more wonderful acts to its special 15th Birthday bill this August.

In addition to the already announced legendary PJ Harvey, Future Islands‘ only UK festival appearance, soulful crooner Michael Kiwanuka and American singer-songwriter Ryan Adams, the festival have now added another 40+ acts to the bill.

Of the newly announced artists is the incredible, inspiring poet and musician Kate Tempest, whose poignant and necessary creations look set to be a highlight of the weekend.

Also added to the bill is politically-charged duo Sleaford Mods, indie-rockers The Shins, San Francisco garage-rock pioneers Thee Oh Sees and punk veteran Julian Cope.

In addition to these big names, Green Man Festival also prides itself on promoting upcoming bands and artists. Appearing this year are quite a few Gigslutz favourites and Ones To Watch including: The Orielles, Deep Throat Choir, Girl Ray, The Big Moon and H. Grimace.

It’s looking like a pretty wonderful weekend!

Green Man Festival takes place 17 – 20 August, full line up and ticket details here.
